WooCommerce orders, answered safely.
Connect your WooCommerce shop with a read-only key, and your office answers order questions from the order itself, only to the person who placed it, and knows your products for your posts.

What your office does with your WooCommerce shop.
- "Where is my order?" answered from the order itself: its status, what was shipped and the tracking, only to the person who placed it.
- The right order, exactly. If an order-number plugin numbers your orders differently from WooCommerce, the number the customer sees is the one that counts, and only an exact match is taken. A draft or binned order is treated as no order.
- Your products known to your office, so a post about a product uses its real name and the price your shop shows.
What it reads and writes
- Reads one order at a time, by its number
- Reads your products and their prices
- Writes nothing to your shop
An order is shown only to its owner.
By email, the sender's address must be the order's. In your website's chat, the visitor must give the order number and the email it was placed with. If they do not match, the answer is the same as for an order that does not exist. A delivery address is never read out.
How to connect.
In WooCommerce, under Settings, Advanced, REST API, create a key with Read permission and paste it with your shop's address. Your shop must be reachable over HTTPS. Your office tries the key once, and only then keeps it, sealed. You can revoke the key in WooCommerce at any time.
Asked before you start.
What key does it need?
A WooCommerce REST API key with Read permission. Nothing more.
I use an order-number plugin. Does it work?
Yes. The number the customer sees is the one that counts, and only an exact match is taken.
Does my shop need anything special?
Only that it is reachable over HTTPS, as a shop should be.

Free to set up, no card needed. It reads your website, asks what it could not find, and nothing goes live until you have checked it.
