sevDesk

sevDesk, followed for you.

Your office follows the invoices you issue in sevDesk, reminds a late customer only when you press it, and reads your suppliers' bills into your books. It reads, and writes nothing to sevDesk.

What your office does with sevDesk.

  • Follows your invoices. Every hour it reads the invoices you issued in sevDesk, open, partly paid and paid, and closes each one when sevDesk says it is paid or cancelled. A cancellation or a dunning letter is never taken for a new debt.
  • Reminds on your press. A polite, fixed reminder in German or another of seven languages, with the amount and your own payment details, from your own mailbox, only when you press Remind.
  • Reads your suppliers' bills from sevDesk into your books, as data, so the same bill arriving by mail or as a photo is counted once.
  • Shows the next weeks. What comes in and what goes out, week by week, next to the rest of your money.

What it reads and writes

  • Reads your invoices and your suppliers' bills
  • Writes nothing to sevDesk
  • Never reminds a customer who has paid

How to connect.

In sevDesk, open Settings, then Users, choose your user and copy its API token. Paste it in your office. It is tried once against your account, and only then kept, sealed. A first reading of your invoices starts at once.

Your invoices stay in sevDesk.

Invoices are made and numbered in sevDesk, and that is where they stay. Your office follows them and never changes one. Receipts, photos and e-invoices such as XRechnung and ZUGFeRD that reach your mailbox are read into the same books.

Questions

Asked before you start.

What does it need?

The API token of your sevDesk user, from Settings, then Users.

Will it send reminders by itself?

No. A reminder goes only when you press Remind, from your own mailbox, and never for an invoice sevDesk shows as paid.

Are cancellations and dunning letters counted?

No. Only invoices that ask for money are followed; a cancellation invoice or a dunning letter is not a debt of its own.
