AI ring or AI glasses?

Glasses with a display show you more, right in front of your eye. A ring shows you less, and you can forget you are wearing it. Meta Ray-Ban Display is the first kind; Lychnos Ring, which we are building, is the second.

In short. Meta Ray-Ban Display costs $799 in the US and €899 in France, Germany and Italy; it comes with a wristband for gestures and needs the Meta AI app. Lychnos Ring is in development for Europe, works without your phone after set-up, and answers with a buzz, a line on its screen and a voice at your ear.

Choose glasses if

You want to see more, in front of your eye, without taking anything out of your pocket, and you already wear glasses or do not mind wearing them all day.

Choose a ring if

You want something small that you forget you are wearing, a quick answer at a glance, and the rest at your ear, without a phone in your pocket. More about how little fits on a ring’s screen, and why that is the point: a smart ring with a screen.
