Pre-order terms

Version 2026-11-04. Draft: to be reviewed by a lawyer before pre-orders open, and the parts for the United States by a US lawyer.

In short

Who you deal with

Rawly OÜ, Narva mnt 5, 10117 Tallinn, Estonia, registry code 17484887; hello@neaion.com.

What the deposit is

The deposit reserves your place in the order in which deposits arrive. It is not the price of the ring and it does not buy a ring: the purchase happens only if you choose to buy once we have told you the final price, the plan and the delivery window. The deposit is then credited to the price.

The product

The Lychnos Ring is in development. It is not yet CE marked and will not be delivered in the EU until it complies with EU law. Its design, features and name may change before it ships; the figures on our site are design targets and estimates until measured. The ring needs a monthly Lychnos plan for its assistant and mobile data.

In the United States. The Lychnos Ring has not been authorized as required by the rules of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). It is subject to the FCC’s rules, and delivery to you is conditional upon successful completion of the applicable equipment authorization process. FCC rules do not address the applicability of consumer protection, contractual or other provisions under federal or state law. If the ring is not authorized, we do not deliver it, and we refund your deposit in full without you asking.

The expected price is €299, VAT included; in the United States, $299, plus any sales tax. These are expectations, not promises: the final figures come before we ask you to buy.

Founding plan price. With a pre-order, your Lychnos plan is expected to cost €9.99 a month for its first 12 months ($9.99 in the United States); after that it moves to the regular price, expected at €14.99 to €19.99 a month ($14.99 to $19.99). We confirm both with the final price, before you pay the rest. If we change the plan’s price later, we tell you at least 30 days before the change, and you can cancel before it applies.

Getting your deposit back

These terms do not limit your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live, including, in Europe, the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days, and, in the United States, your rights under federal and state law.

Where pre-orders are open

In the EU, the EEA, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. Elsewhere, the free list.

Payment and data

Stripe processes the payment; we do not see or keep your card details. What we keep and why is in the privacy notice.

Law and disputes

Estonian law applies, without taking away the protection that the law of your country of residence gives you as a consumer. Please write to us first; you may also turn to the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee or the courts of your country. If you live in the United States, these terms do not take away the protection your state’s law gives you as a consumer; please write to us first there too.
