Progress
Where we are.
We are building in the open. This page says what is done, what is being tested, and what comes next, for each product. Every figure is a design target or a simulation until we measure it.
Lychnos Ring
| Stage | Status |
|---|---|
| Concept and design | Done: the eSIM ring with its screen and speaker, about 6 g, drawn part by part |
| Firmware | In progress: screens, buzz patterns, the button, the voice player and the HOLD ME CLOSER cue run in tests on a computer |
| Speech | Tested in six languages through a simulated ring microphone (the numbers) |
| Cloud and app | In progress: the mail and calendar connections; the assistant’s tools and the set-up app come next |
| Prototype | Next: a development board with the ring’s radio, then the first rings |
| Certification | Later: radio, safety and EU conformity before any ring is delivered |
Alkyon
| Stage | Status |
|---|---|
| Concept and design | Done: the folding body, the hinges, guards a finger cannot pass (how) |
| Flight software | In simulation: thousands of flights, landings and narrow-gap passes (the numbers) |
| Safety layer | In simulation: the reflex, the guard and the stop from the ring (how) |
| Vision | First models trained: people, cats, dogs, curtains and tulle |
| Test stand | Next: real thrust, power, noise and the guards’ strength |
| Prototype and certification | Later, after the ring |
The dock
A concept: where Alkyon lands and charges, where the ring charges on its peg, and an arm that swaps the robot’s battery (the concept).
Next model
The second Lychnos Ring adds health: sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability, skin temperature, stress, blood oxygen and blood pressure trends, as wellness insights (why it comes second).
Updated 3 November 2026. We add to this page as work lands, and say so when something slips.
