Use cases
Run your day from your finger.
The next meeting, the mail that needs you, a quick answer, a yes or a no. These are the moments we are designing Lychnos Ring for, at work, at home and on the move.
Features in development; the examples show what we are building.
At work
- Before a meeting“What’s next?” The time, the room and who is coming, on the screen; a short brief at your ear.
- The mail that mattersA buzz only when someone important writes. Raise the ring to hear it; hold to answer; one press sends.
- The clashTwo meetings at three? Lychnos suggests a fix and moves nothing until you press.
- The quick factA number, a name, a definition, without opening a laptop in the middle of a conversation.
At home
- In the kitchenHands busy? Ask how long the roast needs, set a reminder for the oven, add milk to the list.
- The eveningTomorrow’s first meeting and the weather, said once, so the phone can stay in another room.
- Later, Alkyon“Did I close the bedroom window?” The flying companion goes to look and tells you on the ring.
On the go
- On a walkLeave the phone at home. The ring keeps you reachable for what matters and quiet for the rest.
- Errands“Remind me to call the plumber when I’m done here.” A buzz at the right moment.
- A claim you just heardHold the ring and repeat it; Lychnos checks it and buzzes the answer. How it works.
Travelling
- Your flight, watchedA buzz when the gate or the time changes.
- A price, watchedA hotel, a ticket, a thing you want: Lychnos tells you when it moves.
- Away from homeThe eSIM works wherever its mobile network reaches; no hotspot to find.
Focus
Most of the day, nothing lights up. The screen is dark until you look, quiet hours keep the evenings quiet, and only what you chose can buzz. You get the useful part of your phone without the pull of its screen. Read more about the phone-free assistant.
Questions
Can I use it while driving?
Please do not handle any device while driving. Follow your local road rules; the ring is not designed as a driving aid.
Will it record the people around me?
No. The microphone works only while you hold the button, and Lychnos listens to you, not to the room.
