Comparison
Lychnos Ring vs Samsung Galaxy Ring.
One is a health ring for Android phones, with no monthly fee at launch. The other is a ring you talk to, in development, with its own mobile connection.
In short. Choose Galaxy Ring if you want sleep and health tracking without a monthly fee and you use an Android phone, best of all a Galaxy. Choose Lychnos Ring if you want an assistant on your finger that works without your phone; health comes with its second model.

Choose Galaxy Ring if
You want to understand your sleep and activity, you use an Android phone, and you would rather not pay every month. It is built for health, and works best with Samsung’s own phones.
Choose Lychnos Ring if
You want the small things of your day handled from your finger: the next meeting, the mail that matters, a reminder, a quick answer, a yes or a no. It talks back, shows the first line on a see-through screen, and reaches its assistant over its own eSIM, whatever phone you have.
Why not both in one?
That is where we are going, in order. Our first ring keeps its whole battery for conversation; the second adds sleep, heart rate and other wellness features. Why we chose that order, and how Lychnos Ring compares with Oura Ring 5.
